Vaccinations For Children

At NOALAB CLINIC INC. Community Healthcare, we’re a registered Vaccines For Children (VFC) provider. Eligible children can come to NOALAB and be vaccinated at no cost.

Vaccinations don’t just benefit the person who receives the vaccination, but also everyone they come into contact with through herd immunity. That’s why money shouldn’t be a barrier to getting a vaccine. The federal government funds the VFC program to give access to vaccines for those who need it most. The organization buys vaccines in bulk and distributes them to those with the greatest need.

By making vaccines more widely available, we can ensure children get vaccinated and increase our communities’ health.

Presumptive Eligibility (PE) for Pregnant Women

NOALAB CLINIC INC. Community Healthcare is part of the Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women (PEPW) program. As a registered provider, we offer support to pregnant women with limited resources who aren’t yet approved for the Medi-Cal program.

PEPW provides outpatient services and prescription drugs to pregnant women who lack the resources to fund these treatments themselves. The program is intended as a temporary measure for anyone who has applied for the Medi-Cal program (which offers free or affordable health coverage for eligible Californian residents).

To be eligible, patients must be low-income Californian residents who have applied to Medi-Cal but still haven’t received approval.

The program gives women access to immediate and temporary cover related to prescription drugs and walk-in prenatal care. It doesn’t cover inpatient care, labor, or delivery.

First, you must prove your residency in California and fill out an application to determine whether you qualify for the program. Eligible applicants must have already started a formal application for Medi-Cal at the County Department of Social Services and prove it before their temporary cover expires.

Healthcare professionals at NOALAB will then confirm whether they’re pregnant — if so, they will receive a temporary Medi-Cal Beneficiary Identification Card that’s valid for up to two months from the date of approval. Remember, this card is only valid for certain pregnancy-related services — not the entire Medi-Cal offering.

After going through this process, we can carry out a preemptive examination and book an appointment for you.
